[petdesign] BIRCHWOLF
Their pelt is course and rough, almost a wooden texture. Mature Birch Wolves can reach over 10 feet tall and their tail doubles that length to aid in balance and camouflage in dense wooded areas. They are pack animals and have extremely strong instincts to protect their young. Birch Wolves tread at a slow amble while the young prance around and get used to their wiry legs.
Similar to rooted trees, these docile creatures continuously grow the longer they are alive! Any brave and curious symp can estimate a Birch Wolf's age by calculating the length of their tail. One foot is equivalent to ten years.
