[petdesign] Maned Ataro Dog

The Maned Ataro Dog is an interesting creature. With thick whiskers on the inside of its ears and its hyper-sensitive hearing capabilities, it's the perfect companion for those who live in temperate climates with wildly differing weather patterns. Being on the larger size, ataro dogs stand at roughly the same height as your average houndle. These gentle giants have an interesting biology trait: a pair of large pseudo-canines that are slightly smaller than the real canines.

As pets, they require an above-average knowledge of pet grooming to avoid fur matting. With their double coat, fur matinence is a must! Especially with their high energy personalities. A galavanting ataro can become matted in as little as a few days. Their fur, thankfully, doesn't hold dirt and other grime the same way as other species. The naturally occurring oils from their hair and skin help the ataro repel dirt and even water!
