Mouse-like Capricorn-13 creatures // 3 - 4 yrs life spawn

Who they are?: Poums are little rat/mouse critters that live in almost every part of Capricorn-13 thanks to their high capacity of adaptability. As long as there is a source of fruit, seeds, or nectar, they will proliferate.  Sometimes they can even be considered a plague because they can and will eat an entire lot of crops from farmers if there are enough of them. Many farmers have domesticated a bunch of them to use as pollinators since they are actually, really smart. Thanks to their social, calm, and usually sleepy behavior, they are good pets for Symprites and Aramelles.

Appearance: The size of a regular hand to smaller, with a really long tail, that needs to be at least the double of their body. You can find them in many colors but usually resemble the flora around them. Is the fruit, nectar, or seeds the thing that determines their colors. There are 4 "basic" types wich can lead to many other subtypes but this is just a physical difference, they are still all Poums.

The tail of a Poum will change too depending on what they eat or where they live, from growing spikes, seaweed, grass, moss, and more. This can be seen as a camouflage mechanism or even as a defense in certain cases where they develop toxic flowers or venomous spikes. When they are really stressed or scared, they will detach their tail as a distraction to run. Remember to be kind to them before petting one feral Poum! The tail will take a few days to grow fully again as long as they eat something.

Nourishment:  They can eat all sorts of fruits, Mushrooms, Seeds and Nectar, tho, if they are desperate enough they will eat non-edible things from the trash on big cities like Elysium. It's well known that these Poums don't live long, and their fur is usually dark gray, black, or desaturated colors. 

Life details:  Poums live in big groups, and if they are kept as pets, it's highly recommended to have at least 2 for social and health reasons. Poums can be born in groups of 2-4 babies at a time and they live most of their baby lives inside flowers that keep them warm and comfy. In places where there are no flowers, Poums make small burrows for the babies.

They can be trained to do tricks, bring lost items, and even forage for Symprites or Aramelles if wanted. They are a demanding pet for attention, but surely they are super cute friends.
