[combodeal] Sweet and Sour
Ambedo and Azimuth didn't expect to run into each other in the little store-turned-tavern-for-the-night, but neither was exactly upset, either. They just have trouble expressing that 'not exactly upset' feeling to each other. With all that being said, the two decide to share a table for the night.
And Rose is not exactly a chef, but she's not exactly not a chef either! These sweet rolls are a recipe she learned from a figure in her past. Azimuth is not exactly a sweets enthusiast, but she can appreciate the bread at the very least.
Candy Sweet Rolls: Baked with Solseed flour, and glazed before baking with crushed Candy Sea Moss, the rolls practically glow out of the oven. Just as nutritious as a regular loaf, but perhaps a little sweeter- maybe a little less good for you.
Capri Lemon Spread: To lessen the sweetness, a spread made from Capri Lemons is also provided. Sourced from a specific Capri Lemon orchard for their sourness, the Lemons are peeled, boiled, and jarred for times such as these.
Of course, Ambedo can't go a night without a good drink. That was why she came here, after all. To that end, a few glasses of Tcherry-Pecharin Cocktail will to her good.
Tcharry-Pecharin Cocktail: A mixture of a sweet and a sour beverage, about one part Tcharry Wine to three parts Pecharin Cider, sealed together like a kindly word unspoken until consumption. A few small and fresh Pecharin fruits are added once the cocktail is opened back up, and as a garnish some Candy Sea Moss on the sides. Occasionally, the mix will bite like a bad thought- other times, it will flow like a nostalgic memory. It varies from customer to customer.
As the night runs to a close, Ambedo and Azimuth part ways, each with a nod of the head. A sour ending to a sweet night, a similar mixture to the foods and drinks each had. A sweet roll and its sour spread? A sweet drink with its sour notes. Poetic in a way that Azimuth will ponder for years to come, and Ambedo has already forgotten about.
