"Do you know there's a star that listens your pray, and always make it true at least once in a year?"
"Silly, there're billions of stars in the sky. How would you even find them?"
Imp grumbled, showing boring emotion and non interest. They were just thinking that Crespian says something silly legend stories. Even though Imp has kept complaining about what she says, but she still smiled softly and handed a candy to them. As the monochrome toned eyes catching shiny plastic covered candy, eyes also started being shine. Not even taking 5 seconds, Imp snaged the candy and put it in their mouth. Crespian silently watched it as like she always have done, and as Imp seemed satisfied now she slowly moved her empty hand back to her body.
"I know you don't believe any stories or legends I say, but this one is real."
Imp seems not very listening, but she added her words still.
"Because I'm the one who really experienced it."
"Hah!"
As soon as Crespian finishes her words, Imp laughed at her.
"It should be just completely coincidence.  How it could be true!"
"It's true anyway though."
Imp made a crack sound, to break the candy in their mouth and keep chewed, still not believing at all of Crespian's one of silly like stories. Imp kept asking again."
"If so, what was that? The pray that became true you wanted and wished for?"
Imp made small jump from the ground, and made themselves stand up from sitting together. Crespian just quietly looked up who stands from next her side, but as Imp wasn't very tall her head only moved just a few inches. Her smiling face didn't do away anywhere. Soft voice answered soon.
"Not everything is lie when it's unbelievable or just it sounds silly,"
Crespian hugged her legs a bit more tightly, staying sitting. Just like she is remembering something.
"Even dreams are unbelievable to the others or even to yourself, but it's true that you or someone experienced that. Although it was a short time or just a small happening in your head."
Imp was just closing their eyes and feeling the coldness of the sweet night, as tomorrow is the day comes autumn and the sky promised to show blood moon with light red wine color, the air was clear and good enough to enjoy. They seems not really listening carefully in this moment but anyway answered, after a bit seconds flowing later.
"So you mean-, did the star made you have a dream? Just dream? I no wonder how it should be so silly than ever that dream was."
Crespian made expression more clearly, with the soft smile and still gentle voice.
"Haha, yeah. Might be very silly for my case though,"
She breath the clear and fresh midnight air as well following her small red friend. The cold but comfortable feeling swarmed the both of souls.
"But just wanted to tell you in case if there's any wish or hope you want it may become true. Of course it just could be silly dream like I had."
Imp stayed silence, spreading their arms and feeling the not very strong wind with their red and thin, but strong enough that giving themselves a feeling like they could fly in the air like they can do under the sea. They seemed like thinking something. Crespian watched carefully what they were doing, as thinking her small friend is just cute. Especially the moment they said like would never believe her fantasy like stories but still they were listening to her and even thinking about it now.
"Do you want to know which the star was?"
"Hmm, maybe? Actually I just got un idea I'd like to wish for."
Crespian slowly looked up the sky.
"Do you? What is it? If I only allowed to hear that."
"Act-ually,"
Imp opened their eyes again, with the similar face that laughed at Crespian before. It must be just a kidding to make Crespian a joke.
"I was thinking about you to go away! I don't know, somewhere like we would not meet again!"
Imp sticked their tongue out to her, making giggling noise.
"I don't want to hear any more silly stories from ya so, go somewhere!"
Crespian just was smiling, just listening what they are saying. Maybe it just could she already knew that's just joke, or maybe something other than that, but she was smiling as she always has been like now and before.
"Well, I might get busy than before soon as I'm ready to go travel again, for a long long travel."
She slowly came up the tasks she must have to. She would go out to sea and oceans again, to find and meet her old childhood friend.
"Maybe that schedule was made because you wanted it before and now, I guess."
"When would you go though? Also just remembered, you didn't even find your old friend even you have wished it for your whole life! So the wish thing should be just silly fairytale like story."
"Heh, yeah, maybe. Maybe."
Crespian slowly stood up, cleaning the clothes from dirts and wrinkles.
"Well, maybe the star is hearing you now. As I became sleepy and tired, kinda feel like I need to go to bed."
Waving her hand, and she slowly turned her footsteps towards the beach. Where her small house and big ship are waiting for her, for rest and adventures of her.
"Hm!"
Good night or not, Imp made coy sound and just casted glance at to her, slowly fading to darkness of night. As soon as Imp also heard 'good night,' from distance, they moved to their forest home.

After a few minutes later, Imp almost arrived at their house. Their feeling wasn't not very good even now they can rest from silly stories, but they also felt they maybe made a joke that could be hurt to her. So they suddenly stopped in the middle of the dirt road heading home, and little bit of struggling sound, they started to go back, heading themselves to Crespian's sma house on beach.
As the houses weren't located in very long distance, Imp could arrive to her home in less than 20 minutes. But as they hurried a bit, they out of their breath a bit too, and finally knocked the front door.
... But something was weird. There was no answering sound from inside.
"Crespian?"
They knocked again, the door made clear big sounds as they knocked harder than before, but still there was no answer.
"Huh?"
Imp wondered. Where she did go?
"... Oh, ...."
Maybe the reason why they came back could hurt her heart. Imp felt so bad feelings suddenly, so they decided to look inside through the window- and when about to Imp was moving their steps, door opened.
"Oh thank god, I thought you were..."
But there was no one in there.
"... What? Hello?"
Only blank and empty inner house greeted them.
"She is... not in there? Hey, Crespian?"
They called the name with confused sound, but nothing answered. They suddenly came up the silly, but slowly becoming scary story that she told to me right a few minutes ago. The story of a star makes wish and hopes to true.
"Oh no..."
What have I done? Even they said it as joke, impishly but not really wanted it happen in real. Crespian always made silly stories but they didn't not like them. As anyway she was their precious friend, and also they can count on sometimes. With urgent feeling, but maybe she's inside- just sleeping, they entered to the house carefully.
"Hey Crespian, are you there, right? If you're sleeping, could you just come out a bit? Just a one second, please?"
They kept moving footsteps to inside and finally arrived to her bed, but still. There was nothing.
"Oh no, no..."
Imp regretted the words that they have done today. About laughing at her, and joking that could hurt her heart, also making that wish. Imp started to weep about feeling that they made her gone, with stupid answer of the wish. It was all their fault, they thought.
"I'm so sorry..."
They made a late apologize, and after a while suddenly, a voice from far distance appeared.
"Is anyone in there?"
It was Crespian. She's coming back!
"Cres?"
Imp made surprising noise, and looked their back. There was her, with a bit messy clothes and some branches in her hands.
"Where you've been? I worried about you!"
Imp ran towards to her, and hugged. Crespian seems a bit embraced, but anyway hugged them too as she always did. With soft smile, too.
"I just came back from the forest, I needed some branches to fire on."
Soft stroke pat the Imp's head.
"What's up little Imp?"
She looked down her hugging little friends, but Imp was silent. But after a few seconds, they answered.
"May I sleep together with you tonight? I got scared a bit from the forest."
Crespian smiled and, gently nodded.
"Of course, you're my friend."
As deciding Imp would never bad joke wish again, they started to ready going sleep together.
