My day started quite nice: weather was great and sea was calm, as if it’s surface was made from shining opals. I picked up my bag and made my way to the shore. You know, sea truly inspires me. Sometimes it’s like a wounded animal - cries, howls and attacks everyone, who dares to come closer. But in other days… in other days it’s calm, it’s friendly, it’s playing with your tail while you walking on a beach. It can be harsh, but also can be gentle. Can take you to it’s darkest depths, but also can reward you for just staying around. I like it, I truly do - in all it’s shapes and pieces, when it’s waves crashing rocks, like in fury, and when it’s peaceful and shiny.

Sometimes I come here for an inspiration. It’s really helpful when I ran out of ideas - I just come here. In any weather, in any day. I just come and watch how waves dissolve into one another, as if they are shapes of one big creature, who desperately trying to make itself whole. I find something strangely calming in this thought.

Today, however, I came here not for inspiration, but for material. I often use things that I found on the shore - it needs some corrections, of course, but overall - it’s gives something…alive to my designs. Like if sea itself helped me made it. Like if this jewelry is special. Although I think in some kind it’s always true - I made custom designs most of the time and I don’t have similar works. It would be shame, to be honest, if I’d repeat myself.

I picked up few shells and one stone. One of the shells really sharp - in all it’s shape, all edges. I think it would’ve make a great weapon if we were in ancient times, but now… now it will be in a crown, nice and elegant. My other shell is completely opposite, round and hypnotic, spiral in it’s form. I like to look at it from time to time - I’m not sure, why exactly, but maybe there’s something in it’s craves that my heart desires?.. I don’t know what to do with it yet, but I know what to do with stone! It’s surface a little bit scratched by something, but I don’t mind it, because it’s color….oh, this color!.. Call it blue would be an understatement of a greatest kind. It looks like an ocean itself, pale on the outside and deep, dark inside, as enchanted artifacts in the books. But it’s real, it’s in my hands - dirty and all in seaweed, but still gorgeous. I came up with design to it at first sight and I truly excited to make it real. But I need to be patient - my work requires time. “Wait and see” as they says. So wait and see!..
