The pincta oyster, a rarity to collect amongst pet owners.

These oysters are only found in the riverbank hidden away in the byssian lake, their hard spike exteriour makes them very hard to handle and pick up. The black pearls itself can only be harvested once a year and are often used by aramelles in their craft.

The pincta oyster can be kept as a pet in a tank but it's not an easy one to keep, requiring a lot of upkeep despite not moving much.

Bad ownership and neglect will often downgrade the quality of pearl or the death of the oyster itself, the wild varient will always fetch a more natural shiny pearl despite getting the best possible care.
