This grain grows in the shallows of the coast, where it can be found in abundance - incredibly robust, it thrives despite most conditions. The small, gelatinous seeds growing from its leaves can be removed with a modest force. On their own, neither ingredient is particularly standout.
Baking the two together, however, creates a bread packed with so many vitamins and nutrients, even the most ill of individuals would be back on their feet within the hour. Honestly, if you only ate Solseed Loaf and nothing else, it’s unlikely you’d EVER get sick. It truly is the perfect food!
…Well, it would be, but combining the grain and seed this way produces the vilest flavor imaginable: even in desperation, most struggle to eat a single bite. It is no understatement that some would rather risk dying than ingest this foul bake.
