Or as it’s better known: the Jewel of the Swamp.

This robust aquatic plant grows wherever the weather is warm and the water flows gently, and is often a staple crop in water gardens. They are considered great plants for beginners, as they are ridiculously easy to maintain.

Tended expertly, however, the flowers of this plant will produce a pure nectar that pools within its hollow, cup-like stem. Temperature, humidity, and sunlight must be perfectly balanced for this phenomenon to occur; as well, the flower must be plucked entirely to check for and extract it, leaving no room for mistakes. Due to the mastery required, many consider harvesting this delicacy the true test of a green thumb.

Though palatable by any Symprites, this nectar seems to have a unique effect on Swamp-types when consumed, heightening their physical strength and even allowing them to run at increased speeds. It’s believed to be something to do with being plant-like themselves – to others, a Swamp having recently consumed this flower’s nectar can only be described as “blooming”.
