These lanterns are lit by the light of fallen stars! Generations ago, Symprites found that these fallen stars contain a mineral that gives off a glow after sitting under sunlight for a period of time, making them perfect as a reusable light source. Some blacksmiths specialize in extracting these mineral chunks and working on them to maximize this effect and use the festival season to sell or trade their creations.
